Christine Lusita Tubs and Mirrors Case Study

When health, fitness and lifestyle expert Christine Lusita began the process of renovating her bathroom, she knew she wanted a bathtub as well as a shower, and this is where things became challenging. Because she is petite, Christine found most bathtubs way too big for her; she wanted a tub to envelope her, and one that would provide ergonomic support without straining to hold up her body. By her count, she looked at dozens…and then she saw the Chelsea Tub by Hastings Tile & Bath, available in two lengths—60″ and 66″.

Chelsea and Aurora

Once Christine sat in the 60″ tub, she knew she had found the right fit. Christine also found that she was drawn to Hastings’ Aurora mirrors which are a simple and elegant solution when you want to add some LED back lighting to your space.

Once Christine sat in the 60″ tub, she knew she had found the right fit. The 60″ Chelsea fit her small frame perfectly, as the tub’s higher slope allowed her to relax her neck without feeling as though she would slip down, and the tub’s higher back allowed her to relax into a comfortable position for a good amount of time. Because the tub is crafted from a solid surface material, it also felt warmer to the touch. A match made in heaven!

Christine also found that she was drawn to Hastings’ Aurora mirrors which are a simple and elegant solution when you want to add some LED back lighting to your space. Her double vanity also required two mirrors, and Aurora’s dimensions fit the space perfectly and gave her flexibility to add just the right amount of light.
